a. Active Voice Sentences (Using 12 tenses)

c. All Auxiliary Verbs

The other (third) category of sentences are formed using Auxiliary Verbs (i.e. other than Active / Passive voice sentences.) You have to understand the use of Auxiliary Verbs to perfect your English.

The windows are very dirty. I must clean them. I must hurry. I must not be late.  
should
Tom should go to bed earlier. He goes to bed very late and he is always tired

 Tips to remember:

  1. A sentence cannot be made without a verb.

  2. Sentence will have either verb or auxiliary -verb or both.
    e.g.
    a) I went to bed early. (went- verb)
    b) I was tired. (was- auxiliary verb)
    c) I have had heavy breakfast. ( have, had – auxiliary verb and verb .)

  3. Sentence making is a base for English writing and English speaking.

  4. Sentence is either a) active voice or b) passive voice or c)the one with auxiliary verb.
